An Offering

Breathing Scrolls is the collaborative effort between David and Patrick, of Hawaii and Colorado, respectively. Recognizing the continued relevance and importance of the teachings of Vaughn Benjamin following his transition in 2019, we embarked on the works found within the Breathing Scrolls website. Meeting weekly via video to work through transcripts of albums in their entirety, we made the decision to complete the titles of the Akae Beka catalog that were released during Vaughn’s physical presence on this plane. Upon completion of these, the remaining catalog of Midnite and Akae Beka will continue to be transcribed. The main mission within this effort was a focus on accuracy and albums in their entirety. While every effort has been made to achieve accuracy, we recognize that there will be both inaccuracies and omissions. We have highlighted text or left blank areas where the lyrics are uncertain. We invite any contributions and suggestions to the existing transcripts to be sent to breathingscrolls@gmail.com for consideration.
